Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A large redwood tree fell across Mountain View Rd at Vine Hill Rd around 7:33 p.m. on February 5, blocking the road. PG&E and fire crews were called, and neighbors tried to help clear the tree. The road was expected to stay closed until the next morning. No one was hurt and no poles were knocked down, but some wires were down.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure will last until April 1.
- One lane of North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area is closed for shoulder work. The closure will last until 3:01 p.m. on February 28.
