Property development

  • The Santa Cruz County Planning Department has received a zoning application for a proposed project at 23 Mound Avenue in the San Lorenzo Valley Planning Area. The application seeks approval to operate a new two-bedroom vacation rental within an existing single-family home, allowing overnight stays of up to 30 days at a time. The property is situated on the north side of Mound Avenue, approximately 500 feet from the intersection with Pine Avenue. Approval of the project would require the issuance of a vacation rental permit. (view application)
