The predicted storm was settling in over Santa Cruz County on Sunday morning, bringing with it increasingly high winds that threatened to take down trees and power lines across the county. And with rainfall totals inching up, the National Weather Service posted a flood warning for the San Lorenzo River.
As of 8 a.m., Santa Cruz County’s SAFER (Situational Awareness for Emergency Response) dashboard reported no flooding on the San Lorenzo, nor on the Pajaro River in South County or on Soquel or Corralitos Creeks.
The county urges residents to sign up for local emergency alerts at CruzAware, and you can check here for the latest news on county-maintained roads.
