Bike Santa Cruz County announced that the Santa Cruz Cycle Fair 2026 will take place Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Bicycle Trip at 1001 Soquel Ave.
In partnership with Bicycle Trip, the fair is free and open to the public.
The cycle fair celebrates our region’s status as a mecca for cycling, with Santa Cruz County being a sweet spot for mountain trails, coastal road rides and redwood-covered hill climbs and descents.
The fair will showcase the county’s diverse cycling community by bringing together riders, families, artists, local businesses, local government and community organizations to celebrate the area’s growing active transportation movement.
Activities will include live music, a bike rodeo for kids, a raffle with a bicycle as a grand prize, food and beverages and information booths and demonstrations from bike-related organizations. The event will include a community ride loop, to feature the signature “whale bridge” over Highway 1 at Chanticleer Avenue in Live Oak.
The Santa Cruz Cycle Fair is sponsored by Bicycle Trip, BCycle, California Office of Traffic Safety, Community Bike Collective, Community Traffic Safety Coalition, Ecology Action Modo, Friends of the Rail Trail, Greenway/Trail Now Santa Cruz County, Life Time Sea Otter Classic, Moved by Bikes, Ride Wrap, Santa Cruz Mountain Trail Stewardship, Salsa Cycles, Spokesman, Terranova Ecological Landscaping and Vintage Point.
Participants will be able to take advantage of BSCC’s bike valet service at no charge.
