Property development

  • The Santa Cruz County Planning Department is currently accepting public comments on a zoning application for 84 Sunset Drive, but will stop accepting comments after December 11. The application seeks to renew a permit for a one-bedroom vacation rental in an existing single-family home, which allows overnight stays of up to 30 days at a time. If approved, the renewal would extend the permit’s expiration date from December 15, to December 15, 203. The property is located on the west side of Sunset Drive, approximately .3 miles from the intersection with Shell Road, in the San Andreas Planning Area. Residents who wish to provide input on this proposal must submit their comments before the December 11 deadline. (view application)
