A Santa Cruz summer tradition, Woodies on the Wharf, returns Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m to 3:30 p.m on the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf.
Hosted by City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation and the Santa Cruz Woodies, the free event features more than 150 classic wooden-bodied vehicles, live surf music, hula performances, surfboard shaping demos and vendors. The Santa Cruz Woodies are a local chapter of the National Woodie Club, dedicated to celebrating and preserving “woodie” station wagons.
Attendees can enjoy vintage beach vibes, enter a raffle supporting wharf programs, and stick around for the signature woodie parade off the wharf at 3:30 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to bike, walk or use the shuttle as parking is limited.
For additional information on this event visit the Santa Cruz Woodies.
