The Surfer’s Path Half Marathon will cause limited traffic impacts this Sunday, April 27, as participants run from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk to Capitola Village and back.
The half-marathon will start at 7 a.m. across from the Boardwalk. The runners will head toward Capitola on East Cliff Drive, enter Capitola Village on Cliff Drive, then turn around in Capitola Village to head back to the starting area and complete the 13.1-mile course. Delays are expected to last from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Capitola Police Department will implement traffic control points and have additional staff in the area, according to its social media post.
