Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 8
- Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures in both directions because of bridge work. The closures will continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m.
- South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures because of paving work. The closure will last until Nov. 19.
- A three-car collision involving a red Dodge, a silver Honda sedan, and a blue sedan happened at Hudson Landing Rd and Crg12 in Watsonville / Pajaro at 2:48 p.m. There were no visible injuries. The crash caused heavy traffic and tow trucks were needed. The road was cleared by 4:57 p.m. The incident was reported today.
- A vehicle went off the road at the intersection of Alba Rd and Highway 9 in San Lorenzo Valley. Headlights were seen shining toward the road. It is not known if anyone was hurt. The incident was reported today.
