Tiffany, of 1980s pop “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been” fame, will perform as the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk celebrates Pride Day on Saturday.
She’ll perform a free concert from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk’s main stage. Rides and attractions will open at 11 a.m. that day, and the first 1,000 guests to buy a ride wristband will receive a rainbow-themed flower lei.
Special Boardwalk Pride T-shirts will be sold at The Walk retail location on the boardwalk and a DJ will perform on the Pirate Ship Stage from 2 to 4 p.m. Information booths supporting the LGBTQ+ community will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include The Diversity Center, Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, TransFamilies of Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz Pride and the Rainbow Council & GSA at Cabrillo College.
