Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 20
- Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m.
- South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on Nov. 19.
- CHP got a report of possible smoke near Highway 1 South at Buena Vista in the Watsonville/Pajaro area. The smoke was linked to road or weather conditions, and more calls about smoke were expected. The incident was reported today.
- CHP helped with construction at the intersection of Sr152 and Lincoln St. in Watsonville / Pajaro after traffic signals were flashing red. The issue started as a signal problem and was later updated to a construction assist. It was expected to last until about 6:00 a.m. today.
