Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on June 23
- There are alternating lane closures on both northbound and southbound Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30, 2027.
- A traffic hazard was reported at Glen Canyon Rd and Glen Canyon Ct in Eastside / Live Oak at 2:06 p.m. today. Low-hanging wires about 20 feet above the road were blocking trucks from passing. The incident was first reported as a possible collision but was later identified as a traffic hazard. Fire and utility crews responded to the scene.
- There is one-way traffic on Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of ongoing work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on August 31.
- A lane is closed on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville/Pajaro for asphalt paving. The closure will last until 5:59 a.m. on July 3.
- CHP helped Caltrans with maintenance work at the intersection of Highway 17 South and Granite Creek in Scotts Valley today.
- CHP helped with construction work at the intersection of Highway 1 and River Street in the Westside/Downtown area. The incident was reported today.
- CHP officers helped with construction at the intersection of Highway 1 South and Park in Capitola/Soquel. Officers were on site and working together for about 30 minutes. The incident was reported today.
