Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on Apr. 16
- There was a traffic incident on Highway 1 Southbound at Mar Monte in Aptos. Lanes #1 and #2 were closed from Larkin Valley to Buena Vista due to construction. The incident was reported at 7:03 p.m. and updated at 9:30 p.m. today.

Long-term projects

- A single lane on Soquel Drive, from Cotton Lane to Porter Street, is closed for the Soquel Village Emergency Sewer Project. The closure is in effect from March 25 to May 9, with work happening on weeknights only from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- A single lane on Little Basin Rd in San Lorenzo Valley is closed from December 23 to April 25 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for the construction of two retaining walls, causing traffic delays.
- Little Basin Road near Big Basin Way in San Lorenzo Valley is having storm damage repairs, causing single lane closures and traffic delays. The work is happening from January 16 to May 13, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., depending on the weather.
