The Santa Cruz County Fair has filled a vacancy on its board of directors, announcing the appointment of Watsonville resident Jody Kolbach as the newest member of its seven-person board. Kolbach has worked for Granite Construction for the past 16 years, most recently as its director of human resource services.
The board’s immediate task is now to find a replacement for the fair’s CEO, Zeke Fraser, who resigned in January for health reasons after two years on the job. The board is in the midst of the candidate search for that position.
The 2025 Santa Cruz County Fair takes place Sept. 10-14 at the county fairgrounds outside Watsonville.
