Terry Healey – whom the Santa Cruz Public Libraries describe as an author, keynote speaker and business strategist who encourages audiences to build resilience and overcome adversity – will deliver a talk next month at the Capitola Branch Library.
Healy is a survivor of a life-threatening cancer and uses his journey and the lessons shared in his books to empower others to build confidence, embrace change and celebrate life’s challenges as opportunities for growth. He’ll speak on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Ow Family Community Room.
His most recent book, “The Resilience Mindset: How Adversity Can Strengthen Individuals, Teams, and Leaders,” offers an actionable framework for coping skills which includes evidence-based research and stories of overcoming the odds to create a more fulfilling life.
