  4. Big, bold and soulful. The New Mastersounds celebrate 25 years with a tour stopping at Moe’s Alley.
  5. Hold onto your socks tightly. Because Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre teams up with Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center dancers are aiming to blow those socks off.
  6. He’s so much more than Dwight – Rainn Wilson attempts to change the world with his new book, “Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution.”
  7. It’s Record Store Day! It’s Record Store Day! It’s Record Store Day.
  8. This one hits a lot of buttons: Polynesian festival, Hawaiian food, screening of “Chasing Mavericks,” appearance by Frosty Hesson, and it’s free. What’s not to love?
  9. She’s been on stage since she was a child. The daughter of blues legend Johnny Copeland, Shemekia is now a blues star in her own right.
