There’s Valentine’s Day, and then there’s Galentine’s Day, the unofficial day to celebrate women and female friendships. On Saturday, Humble Sea Brewing Co. is throwing a Galentine’s Day party featuring more than 30 womxn-owned or -operated breweries, fermented beverage producers – think cider, kombucha and wine – and vendors, including Ashby Confections and Yakitori Toriman. The event goes from noon to 5 p.m. and is free to enter.

On Monday, Mariposa Coffee chef Tram Vu is hosting a Lunar New Year dinner party for her next installment of Tram’s Kitchen Sink, a periodic pop-up at her downtown coffeehouse. For this event, Vu will prepare a four-course feast of foods that her family traditionally eats for Tết, or Vietnamese New Year. Tickets are $60 per person.
