Downtown Santa Cruz’s Lúpulo Craft Beer House is celebrating its 10th anniversary this Saturday with an all-day party and a unique tap list. Lúpulo – which is Spanish for “hops” – has partnered with breweries from around the U.S. to create special craft beers specifically for this event. The list of collaborating breweries includes Santa Cruz’s Private Press Brewing, Capitola’s Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, North Carolina’s Fonta Flora Brewery and Seattle’s Fair Isle Brewing, and the creations range from bourbon barrel-aged barleywine to a saison aged in gin casks and conditioned with kiwis.
Local musicians will play throughout the day, and guests can enjoy food specials by Lúpulo’s chef, Miguel Moreno. No tickets are required. The celebration goes all day from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
