As it does every year, the Downtown Association of Santa Cruz will be hosting the Downtown Holiday Parade, taking place on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. The parade starts at Laurel Street and Pacific Avenue and proceeds north to the town clock.
In past years, the parade has drawn up to 3,000 spectators and focuses on local nonprofits and youth organizations. It’s free and go on rain or shine.
