Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on November 14
- A hit and run crash happened at Highway 1 South and Park in Capitola / Soquel today. The suspect’s car was reportedly speeding before the crash. The victim got out of their car, was shaken but did not want medical help. An off-duty officer was at the scene, and a tow truck was called.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
Long-term projects

- PG&E has started construction to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft closure in the area, and work is expected to continue through November 25.
