Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • There will be alternating lane closures on Highway 9 at Pool Drive in Boulder Creek because of bridge work. This is scheduled to continue until April 30, 2027.
     
  • Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue in Brookdale has one-way traffic due to ongoing work. This closure is expected to last until Aug. 31.

Farmers market Tuesday

The Felton farmers market is the second-oldest market in Santa Cruz County. On Tuesdays during late spring through early fall, a collection of regional farms and food businesses throw up their tents to sell a colorful array of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, artisanal bread, seafood and other staple foods.
