Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 2
- Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures in both directions because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m.
- Highway 9 at San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek Bridge in Santa Cruz County will have one-way reversing traffic control during the day and night from Monday to Friday next week, starting Oct. 5, due to ongoing bridge replacement work.
- Overnight lane closures on Highway 1 near March Vista Drive in Aptos will start Tuesday, Oct. 6. The far right lane in both directions will be closed at night for construction of a pedestrian bridge.
- South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on Nov. 19.
- One-way traffic control is in place on North SR-236 at Boulder Brook Drive in San Lorenzo Valley for pavement repair. The closure is expected to end at 1:59 p.m. on Oct. 5.
- A lane on east SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville/Pajaro is closed for core drilling work. The closure will last until 2:01 p.m. on Oct. 5.
