Road incidents as of 9:30 a.m. on February 13
- Around 8:40 a.m. today, two sedans stopped on northbound Highway 17 at Laurel Road in Scotts Valley, blocking both the fast lane and right lane. One of the cars, a Nissan Leaf, couldn’t move and had its trunk open with hazard lights that weren’t working. The incident caused traffic to back up. Tow trucks were called, and cones were set up to manage traffic.
- A traffic collision with no injuries happened at Highway 17 and Crescent Dr in Scotts Valley at 9:10 a.m. today, causing all lanes to be stopped.
- A traffic hazard was reported in the #2 lane at Highway 17 and Crescent Dr in Scotts Valley. Freeway Service Patrol was called to help at the scene. The incident was reported today.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on April 1.

- One lane is closed on North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area because of shoulder work. The closure will last until 3:01 p.m. on February 28.
- A vehicle was parked in a red zone at 154 Merrill St. in Eastside / Live Oak, creating a traffic hazard by blocking the view of oncoming traffic. The incident was reported today.
