The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a small country store in a rural area just northeast of Watsonville.
Just after 7:30 p.m. last Wednesday, May 14, three masked suspects robbed the Casserly Store holding an employee at gunpoint and demanding cash.
The suspects stole alcohol and an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing north toward Mt. Madonna Road in a white Cadillac SUV.
