Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on March 9
- A man was seen sitting with his legs in the road at San Juan Rd and Allison Ln in Watsonville/Pajaro, causing a traffic hazard. No vehicles were involved. He was later reported to have trouble breathing, and the fire department responded. The incident was reported today.
- South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic because of emergency work. This closure will last until April 1 at 3:59 p.m.
- A lane is closed on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville/Pajaro for asphalt paving. The closure will last until July 3 at 5:59 a.m.
- One lane of northbound Highway 17 north of Scotts Valley will be closed during the day for vegetation work starting today and continuing through this week.
- A black Nissan sedan and a white Honda sedan were involved in a crash at 41st Ave. and Portola Dr in the Eastside / Live Oak area. Airbags went off, but no one was hurt and everyone declined medical help. Emergency crews responded, and the road was not blocked. The incident was reported today.
