Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on February 2

  • South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic because of emergency work. The lane closure is expected to last until April 1.
     
  • Overnight lane closures on Highway 17 south of Sugarloaf Road, north of Scotts Valley, will continue tonight and tomorrow night, starting at 8:00 p.m. each night. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
     
  • A lane on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville and Pajaro is closed for asphalt paving. The closure is expected to last until July 3.
     
  • One-way traffic control is in place on Highway 9 in Santa Cruz County, San Lorenzo Valley, for work to install devices that prevent birds from nesting in structures. This traffic control will continue through Tuesday, February 3, with work happening on Saturday, January 31, today, and Tuesday.
     
  • There are alternating lane closures on Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. The closures are expected to end at 4:59 p.m. today.
     
  • A lane on west SR-129 at Harvest Drive in Watsonville / Pajaro is closed for utility work. The closure will end today at 3:01 p.m.
     
  • One lane is closed on North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area because of shoulder work. The closure will last until 3:01 p.m. on February 28.
     
  • South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive in Eastside / Live Oak is facing closures for K-rail installation. The closure is expected to end at 5:59 a.m. today.
     
  • One-way traffic control is in place on SR-236 at Glen Way in San Lorenzo Valley because of tree work. The closure is expected to end at 2:30 p.m. today.
