Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on June 16
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for road excavation. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- A single lane on Sims Road and La Madrona Drive, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for a pipeline project. Traffic control is in place, and the closure is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily until February 2026.
- Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue is closed due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project. Expect traffic delays and lane closures in the area, depending on the weather. Special construction hours were on April 12-13, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
