The restored Capitola Wharf had a soft opening after storm damage in January 2023. A community work day is scheduled for Sept. 7 to install new features from a $425,000 campaign. The grand opening is on Sept. 25. The $8 million repair project, funded by federal, state, and local taxes, addressed storm damage and pre-existing structural issues.
