Property development

  • The Santa Cruz County Planning Department is currently accepting public comments on a zoning application for a proposed project at 3230 Crystal Heights Dr. in the Soquel Planning Area. The project seeks approval to establish a new three-bedroom short-term rental, where guests could stay for up to 30 days at a time. Notably, the rental would not be hosted by the owner during guest stays and requires a Non-Hosted Short-Term Rental Permit. Residents who wish to provide input or express concerns about this proposal must submit their comments before the deadline on Sept. 23. (view application)
