Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on September 15
- There was a report of a fire at 16001 Empire Grade in San Lorenzo Valley this morning.
- Highway 1 at March Vista Drive in Aptos will be fully closed overnight for construction of a pedestrian bridge. Northbound Highway 1 will be closed in Aptos on Sept. 20 from 11 p.m.
- Highway 9 at the San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek bridges in Santa Cruz County will have one-way reversing traffic control during the day and night from Monday to Friday this week. This is due to ongoing bridge replacement work.
- South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on Nov. 19.
- Alternating lanes are closed on South Highway 1 at Bay Avenue in Capitola / Soquel for shoulder work. The closure is expected to end at 6:30 a.m. today.
- Alternating lanes are closed on SR-129 at Highway 1 in Watsonville and Pajaro for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 5:59 a.m. today.
- Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30.
- Highway 9 at Ramona Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic because of drainage work. The closure will end at 7:01 p.m. today.
- There is one-way traffic on SR-129 at Salsipueda Creek Bridge in Watsonville / Pajaro because of pavement work. The closure will last until 2:59 p.m. tomorrow.
- There is one-way traffic on SR-129 at Union Street in Watsonville and Pajaro because of paving work. The closure will end at 5:59 a.m. today.
- There is one-way traffic on SR-152 at Martinelli Street in Watsonville and Pajaro because of road striping work. The closure will end at 5:59 a.m. today.
- There is one-way traffic on North SR-236 at Boulder Brook Drive in San Lorenzo Valley because of pavement repair. The closure will last until 1:59 p.m. on Sept. 21.
- There is one-way traffic on SR-236 at Azalea Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of tree work. This closure will last until 2:01 a.m. on Sept. 16.
- CHP helped Caltrans with maintenance on northbound Highway 17 at the Pasatiempo Drive offramp in the Eastside / Live Oak area. The work started at 7:54 p.m. today and included a break in traffic for maintenance.
- CHP helped with construction work at the intersection of Highway 1 South and Bay Porter in Capitola/Soquel. The incident was reported today.
