  • On May 21, the Santa Cruz County Planning Department formally approved a zoning application for a project at 479 Oyster Dr. The approved project renews a permit for a three-bedroom vacation rental in an existing single-family home at this address. With this renewal, the property will continue to allow overnight lodging for up to 30 days at a time, and the permit’s expiration date is extended from Dec. 15, 2025, to Dec. 15, 2030.
