The case, identified as NV25295, involved unpermitted grading and vegetation removal within the habitat range of the long-toed salamander, a protected species. These actions were in violation of local building and grading codes, as well as environmental protection regulations. The property owner has been assessed fees that must be paid to the county as a result of the violation.
Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
