Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

• South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure will end at 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
   
• Long-term projects: On Sims Road, a single lane is closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to a pipeline project. This affects the area from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, with traffic control in place.
