Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

• South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is completely facing closures. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
   
• Long-term projects: – Sims Road: A single lane is closed from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive for a pipeline project. The closure is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, with traffic control in place. – Richmond Drive: Road closures and traffic delays are expected at Richmond and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue due to a pump station upgrade project. The work is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. On April 12-13, construction will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
