Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- There was a traffic incident reported yesterday at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Western Drive due to defective traffic signals.
- A lane on South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive in the Eastside/Live Oak area is closed for landscape work. The closure is expected to end by 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
- Long-term projects: A single lane on Little Basin Rd is closed from December 23 to April 25, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., for construction work, causing traffic delays. Additionally, Little Basin Rd near Big Basin Wy is undergoing storm damage repair, leading to single lane closures and traffic delays from January 16 to May 13, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

- Residents of Santa Cruz County are encouraged to submit their public comments regarding a zoning application for a proposed one-bedroom residential vacation rental at 530 Crest Drive, Ben Lomond. Public comments will be accepted until February 14. (view application)
