Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: A single lane on Little Basin Rd is closed from December 23 to April 25, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., for construction of retaining walls, causing traffic delays.
     

Property code violations

County officials cite property owners for issues such as substandard housing, illegal uses of buildings, property maintenance, abandoned appliances or furniture, construction without permits, and other issues that affect public safety and quality of life.

  • The property at 601 Acorn Dr, Boulder Creek, which was cited for several building code violations under case number NV24887, has now addressed the issues identified in the Notice and Order issued on May 9, 2023. The violations included the construction of unpermitted retaining walls, unpermitted grading activities, and the creation of erosive conditions that could negatively impact the property and its surroundings. The county is actively monitoring the site to ensure ongoing compliance with local building codes and regulations.
     
  • A code violation notice has been issued for the property located at 8025 Lilac Dr, Felton. According to the Parcel Research Report, the case associated with this violation is numbered NV25181 and was processed on January 13, 2025. The case is currently in the “Monitor Compliance” milestone. However, the report does not specify the exact nature of the building code violations involved. Residents seeking further details about the violations are encouraged to consult the case file or contact the relevant county department for more comprehensive information.
