Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • A dark blue Tesla and a white Bronco were involved in a collision on northbound Highway 17 at Laurel. The Tesla was reportedly speeding and road raging, which led to the other driver colliding with it. Both vehicles ended up on the right shoulder, and there were no injuries or road blockage. The incident was reported today.
     
  • South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic because of emergency work. This closure will last until April 1.
     

Community crime report

  • Unauthorized use of an access card account was reported. The incident happened near the 300 Block of Sims Rd, Santa Cruz, at 10 a.m. on March 4. (source)
