Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A lane on North Highway 17 at Spanish Bit Chapel is closed for tree work. The closure will end at 12:01 p.m. tomorrow.
- An injured deer caused a traffic incident in the southbound lane of Highway 1 near Freedom in Aptos. It was reported at 6:57 a.m. today.
- The alternating lanes on North Highway 1 at 41st Avenue in Capitola/Soquel are closed for a striping operation. The closure is expected to end at 4:59 a.m. on May 5.
- The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are completely closed for road excavation. The closure is expected to end at 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
- A lane on North Highway 1 at Buena Vista Drive in Watsonville / Pajaro is closed for shoulder work. The closure is expected to end at 4:59 a.m. today.
- A lane on South Highway 1 at Mar Monte Avenue in Aptos is closed for shoulder work. The closure is expected to end at 5:59 a.m. today.
