Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Green Valley Road in Watsonville is experiencing single lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday due to a Multi-Use Trail Improvement Project. This started on July 15, 2024, and is expected to finish by February 28, weather permitting.

  • A 72-year-old man reported a verbal dispute with a neighbor who threatened him. A warrant request was submitted for the suspect for making threats.   • A man was attacked with a knife while trying to stop two people from stealing items from his vehicle. He received several cuts on his arm.   • A 20-year-old man was injured by gunfire and went to the hospital on his own. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and shooting at an inhabited dwelling or vehicle.
