FINAL BLOCK PARTY, MUSIC FEST, LINE DANCING

Music lovers, prepare to boogie.
First up is the final Midtown Friday of the season, with Alex Lucero Band leading a finale celebration for the free block party series. The fun starts at 5 p.m. at the Midtown lot on Soquel Avenue.
On Saturday, Buena Vista Brewing Co. in Watsonville will host the Stringed Instrument Roadshow, a collection of instrument builders, repair artists and small-shop makers, from noon to 4 p.m. That afternoon, the eighth annual KBCZ Music Fest will return to Garrahan Park in Boulder Creek. Mountain favorite The Coffis Brothers are headlining, with Trestles, The Mother Corn Shuckers and Squidrow Orchestra also performing. Tickets are $20, with proceeds benefiting Boulder Creek Community Radio.
On Sunday, Boots N’ Brews comes to the Seabright neighborhood for another afternoon of dancing with Surf City Line Dance on a pop-up dance floor. Proceeds from beverage sales go toward nearby businesses, and guests are encouraged to order dinner from area restaurants. This event is free. – Lily Belli
