DESSERTS, DADS AND FARMERS MARKETโS 50TH

Santa Cruzโs sweetest festival returns for a fourth year this Saturday. Sweet Home Santa Cruz, presented by Collective Santa Cruz and hosted by Humble Sea Brewing Co., expanded its footprint beyond the Westside craft brewery to a stretch of McPherson Street all the way to โfive-star dive barโ Mission West. Expect dessert vendors, live beats, a kid zone, and art vendors. Entry is free.ย
The Aptos farmers market at Cabrillo College is celebrating its 50th birthday โ thatโs half a century of produce and treats from nearby farms and vendors. Head to the market this Saturday for contests, shopping, live music and birthday cake. Donโt miss the feature on the market by Lookout contributor Ruth S. Intress, out today.ย
This Sunday is Fatherโs Day, and Aptos High School is hosting The Dad Wave 5K on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. This family-friendly fun run costs $25, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofits The Circle Family Center and MENtors. โ Lily Belli
