If youโ€™re craving a summery dinner party, youโ€™ve got options this weekend, starting with the monthly Food Truck Friday tomorrow at Skypark in Scotts Valley.ย

On Saturday, Beauregard Ranch Vineyard in Bonny Doon will host a Midsummer Nightโ€™s Dinner paired with Santa Cruz Mountains wines and, across the valley, families can eat a barbecue dinner followed by a train ride, dessert and music at Roaring Camp Railroadsโ€™ Moonlight Dinner Party. In Aptos, the annual Farm to Fork Gala for nonprofit Community Bridges will be held at Seascape Golf Club. The party rolls on at Seascape Resort on Sunday at Sip for Second Harvest, a fundraiser that supports Santa Cruz Countyโ€™s food bank.ย

Maybe a lively crowd is more your style? The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is hosting a watch party for tonightโ€™s World Cup match between the United States and Turkey. On Saturday, Mission West in Santa Cruz hosts its annual Summer Sender block party with Space Heater. โ€“ Lily Belli

“Great bands, atmosphere, owners and wine.”

Donโ€™t miss the rare footage caught by drone operator Nick Bertocchini of a shark circling Aptos surfer Max Eder in the water off of Seascape Park Beach. The video of the enormous dark shape in the water is fascinating, and Eder made it safely to shore. โ€“ Lily Belli
