A recent high school graduate is challenging an eight-year incumbent for the Pajaro Valley Unified School Board Trustee Area IV seat.

Eriberto Estrada said he’s running to bring the perspective of a recent student to the seven-member school board. Also, the son of a PVUSD teacher, he said he decided to run when he learned about the district’s proposal to cap its contribution to employee health insurance benefits.
