San Lorenzo Valley High School’s music program will showcase its talents ahead of a European tour, with two preview performances scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, at the school’s performing arts center in Felton.
The concerts, set for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., will feature the school’s choir, concert band, jazz band and wind ensemble. These groups will perform selections from their upcoming tour of Leipzig and Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic.

Under the direction of Carey Liston, the school’s music program has flourished, engaging about 20% of the student population even as overall enrollment has declined.
The trip is being supported by the San Lorenzo Valley Music Boosters, which has spent years fundraising to support programs including this European tour through various events, including its upcoming annual Music & Art Festival on May 21.
The performances will take place at San Lorenzo Valley High School’s performing arts center, 7105 Highway 9 in Felton.
Tickets are required and are available with a suggested donation of $5 through the school’s ticketing platform.
