Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on September 11
- A fire was reported on the left side of the road near the bridge at Main St. and Porter Dr in Watsonville/Pajaro. The incident was reported at 9:19 p.m. today and fire authorities were notified.
- On the evening of today at the intersection of Salinas Rd and CRG12 in Watsonville / Pajaro, about 50 cars were seen making illegal U-turns, which led to several near-collisions and concerns about another possible traffic crash in the area.
- A traffic collision happened today on northbound Highway 1 at Salinas Road, just south of Salinas Road in the Watsonville/Pajaro area. Both vehicles ended up on the right shoulder. No injuries were reported, but one person complained of head and neck pain and declined medical treatment at the scene.
- There was a construction-related incident on northbound Highway 1 at Scott Creek in the Bonny Doon / Davenport area. CHP assisted with the situation. The incident was reported today.
Long-term projects
