Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on February 26
- A water main burst in the middle of the road at 463 Portola Dr in Capitola / Soquel. CALFIRE and the water company checked the area and found no open hole, but said one could form. They decided the road did not need to be closed at this time. The incident was reported today.
- There is one-way traffic on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. This closure will last until April 1 at 3:59 p.m.
- A lane on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville and Pajaro is closed for asphalt paving. The closure will last until July 3 at 5:59 a.m.
- One lane is closed on North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area because of shoulder work. The closure will last until 3:01 p.m. on February 28.
- A man was seen walking a bike in the road at the intersection of Highway 9 and Brown Gables Road in San Lorenzo Valley, causing a traffic hazard. It is not known which direction he was going. This was reported today.
- CHP helped with construction work at the intersection of Highway 17 South and Sugarloaf Road in Scotts Valley today.
