Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on September 29
- Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m.
- South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures because of paving work. The closure will last until Nov. 19 at 7:01 a.m.
- A lane is closed on east and west SR-152 at Main St./Lake St. in Watsonville and Pajaro because of curb, gutter, and sidewalk work. The closure will last until 2:59 p.m. tomorrow.

- CHP helped with construction on southbound Highway 17 at Vine Hill in Scotts Valley. The work was scheduled from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. today.
- A car hit a deer at the intersection of Highway 9 and Locust Ln in San Lorenzo Valley. The car could still be driven and no one was hurt. The incident was reported today.
