Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on September 30
- A car hit a deer on Graham Hill Rd at Conference Dr in San Lorenzo Valley around 9:23 p.m. today. The deer was hurt at first but later ran off. The car could still be driven and no one was hurt.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
- CHP helped with construction on southbound Highway 1 at Larkin Valley in Aptos. The work was scheduled from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and was reported today.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft road closure in the area, and construction is expected to continue through November 25.
