Santa Cruz County health leaders will provide an update on the status of vaccine dissemination and the virus at a 2 p.m. press conference.
The news conference comes as Santa Cruz County is on the cusp of reaching the red tier of COVID-19 restrictions which would allow more businesses to reopen. Vaccinations have also become more prolific in recent weeks with 72,921 doses administered so far to Santa Cruz County residents.
