Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • There will be alternating lane closures on Highway 9 at Pool Drive in Boulder Creek because of bridge work. This is scheduled to continue until April 30, 2027.

  • Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue in Brookdale has one-way traffic due to ongoing work. This closure is expected to last until Aug. 31.ย

  • The Santa Cruz County Planning Department has received a zoning application for a project at 639 Roberts Rd. The proposal seeks to renew an existing permit for a two-bedroom vacation rental at this address, which would allow overnight lodging for up to 30 days at a time. Approval of a Vacation Rental Renewal Permit is required for the project to move forward. (view application)
