Construction to repair a water main that broke in last December will cause Scotts Valley traffic delays into June.

The Scotts Valley Water District is performing main replacement work on Granite Creek Road between Sherman Drive and North Navarra Drive. The project will last through June 10.

Residents should expect traffic delays Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sidewalk access in the area will be closed from May 29 to June 4.

The project will make permanent repairs following December’s main break. Pavement and sidewalks will also be restored to city standards.
